That Short Anniversary Getaway

Where to? Somewhere around KL only.. Cannot leave the kids too long.. Hubby took me for lunch @ Mandarin Oriental.. We had Dim Sum.. And I really enjoyed my lunch.. I love dim sum.. Better and pricier than Sime Darby Convention Centre.. But it was worth it.. The durian pancake was exquisite.. I hate durians but this was different..

After lunch, he drove to the Traders Hotel.. Checked-in and went up to the room.... Hubby got us a room with KLCC view.. Fantastic! Couldn't be happier than this..

Singapore Trip Again - Final Day

After breakfast and another last minute shopping trip, we drove back to JB to attend hubby's cousin's wedding - Siti Nur Atiqah & Hairi... Lotsa weddings this year.. :)

i must say it is not easy to take a decent picture of my daughters.. i like this shot..

We later decided to 'recharge' ourselves at Uncle Halim's place first before heading back to KL... At first we thought of leaving after Maghrib but we got carried away - chit chatting with relatives until 11p.m!.... I mean, it's not like we met that often..  We reached home around 3 in the morning... And packed for tomorrow (the 'anniversary getaway').. 

Singapore Trip Again - Day 3

The kids were up pretty early.. Took their bath and had their breakfast... Tak sabar nak pergi zoo..

This is Nayla's first visit to a proper zoo.. As for Nura, she's been to the zoo for so many times already..

Zoo Negara - 4 times
Zoo Taiping - 1 time
Zoo Melaka - 1 time
Sunway Petting Zoo - 1 time
Singapore Zoo - 2 times (including this one)
Bird Park KL - 1 time

She loves to learn about animals.. She enjoys all her visits to the zoo or any animal park.. Pet shop pun dia suka.. She reads NatGeos Encyclopedia of Animals.. And she recognize a ring-tailed lemur once she spot one.. My husband doesn't even know what is a ring-tailed lemur.. Do you?

Hubby rented a wagon for the kids.. Pricey but came in handy.. Very practical as we have to leave Nayla's stroller in JB due to limited trunk space..

Then we had to spend on the pricey ponchos as it suddenly rained..

Got a complimentary boat ride.. Awesome..

Rhino-feeding session was interesting too..

Nayla was so exhausted that she fall asleep in the wagon... Pity her..

After pit stop @ the apartment, we head to Mustaffa's again.. Than back for dinner.. After prepping the kids, hubby and me went out to meet hubby's former colleagues (Aseambankers) - George and Mabel.. They've been working in Singapore since last year..

We both continued 'exploring' Orchard Rd again.. And had supper later..

Singapore Trip Again - Day 2

After breakfast, we went out to Takashimaya and other shopping centres along the Orchard Rd... This year's Singapore Great Sale doesn't seem that appealing to me.. I didn't shop that much.. But I like walking along Orchard Rd.. Reminds me of Swanston St in Melbourne..

We have to get some lunch for my FIL and our kids.. The kids seems so restless already.. Hubby and me continued browsing through the malls after lunch.. Then, head back to the apartment to get ready for dinner..

Drove to Hawa's Restaurant in Changi Rd to meet Kak Fida and Abang Hamid's family... Makan sampai tak ingat dunia!

After that, we went to Mustaffa's ctr.. Something like Mydin.. Ramainya umat kat situ... Met Wak Surin's clan there.. They'll be joining us at the apartment tonight..

By the time we got back to the apartment, it was already midnight.. The kids were cranky.. Today's activities were definitely not to their liking.. But we've already planned to bring them to the Singapore Zoo on Saturday... 

Singapore Trip Again - Day 1

We've decided to go to Singapore for 4 days, 3 nights.. 23rd June.. drove to Spore.. Arrived @ the Tung Shia Apartment (Maybank's) around 6 p.m.. It's situated next to the Paragon shopping centre.. This is the best Maybank apartment I've ever been to..

Had dinner with Uncle Roslan (MIL's youngest brother) at Adam's Road...

Then we adjourned to his tastefully decorated apartment for coffee... I love his place.. 

10th Anniversary..

Today marks our 10th anniversary.. But we've been next door neighbours since 1995.. Yeah.. I married the guy next door..

Hubby wrote an FB note to me..

And I wrote something for him too..

Both notes said it all.. I wish for a blessed journey ahead.. I love my man and I thank Allah for all the great happenings in our lives.. اَلْحَمْدُلِلّهِ..
