Umrah

i've been promising myself to perform umrah when my financial situations permit.. that point has come so many times in my life and yet i'm still here...

bad things always bring us closer to our Creator.. and that shouldn't be the way.. coz we should always be close to HIM.. this is a reminder to myself as well... a test is to wake us up.. and be grateful for it because in other part of the world, there's always others who are much more unfortunate than us.. yes.. well there's no harm in enjoying life, but there must be balance in everything we do.. treat others the way you want yourselves to be treated.. restrict yourselves from going beyond the boundaries (if you know what i mean)...

now back to my umrah story..

on March 3rd, 2011 - we depart for Jeddah.... Alhamdulillah... finally i was given the opportunity to perform umrah with my beloved husband and in-laws... leaving behind our daughters... and my father who has just recovered from minor stroke... and my sister's wedding pun nak dekat...

i performed my first Umrah back in 1998.. together with my family.. i must say memang dah banyak berubah.. only the Jeddah airport still as small as last time... can't imagine the crowd masa Haji...

Okay, here are some pictures from the Umrah trip..

MasyaAllah... i was able to stand in-front of Baitullah again.. and this time with my husband... the feeling was totally different... there's no words to describe it.. Alhamdulillah... and I saw hubby's teary eyes - for the very first time....

and i never thought that i would meet my close friend in Mecca.. we used to do our science matriculations together in USM back in 1996.. jodoh kita, Sherin.... love you..

hopefully we'll be able to perform our Haj soon... Amin....
