Chaos!

The wedding preparation is eating me up... killing me softly... it's because my dad has decided to have another reception in Dewan Merak Kayangan.. and the guest list is still not in place... YES!... we got plenty of time since the engagement last year but it seems that the longer the time you have, the more you tend to take things lightly... my Dad was suppose to prepare the guest list since last year...  but he kept insisting that the list should be derived from the senders of the raya cards which he kept in a small basket in his library....

finally the guest list has been compiled... and there were only less than 30 names altogether! i cannot stand it anymore.. i confronted my dad, asked him that he should categorize his guest list into a few groups: families and relatives, neighbours, gang SDARA/STAROBA... gang UM.. rumah no. 250 (his bachelor's house).. PTD, JPA, TDC/Min. of Culture & Tourism.. SPSetia, CYPark, Badan Warisan and whatever companies/organizations that he's involved in.... then list out the names accordingly to the groups...

then barulah ada gaya sikit list tu... next issue - their latest address... ok.. now have to delegate.. not enough time... hubby and me have been sleeping very late for nights compiling the listing... and then we noticed too many redundancies in the list... i.e Dato' X is in gang UM, gang rumah 250 and PTD.... Owwwhhh Emmmm Geeeeeeeee!!! okay.. lets transfer everything into excel file so that we can sort and eliminate these redundancies... then got to send hubby to reconcile the list with my dad... why hubby? first, hubby is still his 'buah hati'... the chances of getting scolded is almost zero.. hehehee... i'm a bit impatient when dealing with this kind of things... okaylah... i admit.. i memang tak sabar at all... let hubby do the talking... i'll work on the missing address...

what about other preparations? Kadi, pelamin nikah, pelamin bersanding di rumah, bunga pahar, bunga manggar, dulang and hantaran etc... mostly dah ready... well baju nikah tak ready lagi la.... whatever it is, my baju, hubby's and the girls' dah siap.... phewwwww... the bride's sister pulak yang over...

the website provides free RSVPs, budget and checklist management systems... pretty handy.. but only recently i remembered about the website... and when i log in, i became panic... terasa macam banyak yang tak siap lagi! that's it... wait for the next wedding lah...

after this i'll be a bit busy... hope to be able to write again after the wedding..
